How can hypnosis help me eat better?
There are numerous diets on the market today, many of which you may have tried yourself, with little to no success. Studies show that dieting has less than a 10% success rate for shedding pounds and keeping them off. For the other 90% of us whose weight seems to yoyo up and down, restricting what we eat slows down our metabolism and leads to binge eating down the road, which is a recipe for weight gain. Instead, experts say the key to maintaining a healthy weight is to develop a healthy lifestyle by changing how we think about food.The most successful way of doing this is through hypnosis. Hypnosis creates a very relaxed state in which you tune out the outside world, much like when you're reading a book or watching a movie. In this state, your subconscious mind is highly suggestible to receiving positive suggestions that are given. Your conscious mind (the part that likes to over-think things) steps aside, and your subconscious mind (the part responsible for impulse and imagination), takes over. At this time, we give positive suggestions to your subconscious mind, which convinces it to follow different impulses; thus changing your eating behavior.

Mike contacted me a few days before the session for our pre-consultation. He tailored my session to the needs I expressed. I told him I needed to stop drinking 6 diet cokes a day, change to water, and stop eating handfuls of M & M's 4 or 5 times a day at work. I told him about my desire to fit the dress for the wedding. He included all of this and more in my session.
The session was very simple and relaxing. To my surprise, when I left, I had no desire for Diet Coke or M&M's. I stopped those habits immediately with no remorse. I started drinking water all day. All of my eating and exercise habits improved. It still took commitment on my part, but my motivation was high and I did not feel deprived. Being physically active for at least 30 minutes, five or more days each week, can help you not only look and feel better, but can also help reduce your risk of these diseases.Living a physically activity lifestyle has many benefits, and all of these can begin with moderate activity. This includes things like walking, biking – even housework and gardening. And if you enjoy more vigorous activities, that's great too. The more active you are the more weight you lose and the more benefits you gain. The most important thing is to get more active every day. And it's never too late to start.
